Advertisers can now automate audience targeting and creative selection. Yahoo DSP’s new integration with Clinch aims to cut manual work. Real-time data powers faster, more accurate ad delivery.

Yahoo DSP expands its automated campaign capabilities. In a partnership announced Wednesday, Yahoo DSP made its audience marketplace accessible through two data-driven practices, aiming to simplify campaign setup, minimize manual errors, and accelerate time to launch.

Advertisers using Yahoo DSP can now build a single campaign targeting multiple audience segments, upload creative assets, and let the platform determine which ad to serve in real time. According to Dave Modica, director of business development at Yahoo, the enhanced partnership with Clinch leverages a two-way API to automate data flows and decision-making. Clinch, an AI-powered ad company, integrates with Yahoo DSP’s trafficking API to identify audience segments as impressions are served, ensuring the right creative reaches the right user at the precise moment.

Previously, advertisers targeting distinct groups-such as new moms and sports fans-had to create separate campaign lines and manually assign creatives. The new tools synchronize campaigns and line items between Yahoo DSP and Clinch, automatically publishing creative tags across display, video, and audio formats without manual trafficking. This automation is designed to reduce errors and speed up campaign launches, especially for high-volume omnichannel programs.

Yahoo DSP now supports real-time selection of ads for first-party, CRM, lookalike, modeled, and third-party audiences, using data available at the millisecond an ad is rendered. The announcement follows Clinch’s addition to the Yahoo DSP Agent Network in June 2026, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to interoperability and open connectivity. The Agent Network connects advertisers to AI-powered agents from 23 technology partners, helping reduce setup time and handoffs through automation.

As automation in ad tech grows, some marketers remain cautious about transparency and measurement, as discussed in related coverage on the challenges facing new AI-driven ad platforms.
