SEO practitioners can now access a richer set of performance metrics within Google Search Console’s AI Overviews report, thanks to a new Chrome extension called GSC Insights Pro. Developed by Indian SEO specialist Vijay Chauhan, the tool integrates directly into the Search Console interface, eliminating the need to toggle between tabs or export data to CSV files.
By default, Google’s AI Overviews report displays only impressions generated by AI. GSC Insights Pro intercepts the underlying data layer and overlays a comprehensive set of metrics directly onto the report page. Users can instantly view AI Overviews impressions, web clicks, web impressions, click-through rate (CTR), and average position-all without leaving the dashboard.
This streamlined access to detailed metrics aims to help SEO professionals and site owners better understand how AI-generated results are impacting their search visibility and user engagement. The extension is available now in the Chrome Web Store.
