A new AI Experience Platform aims to automate customer interactions and support agents in real time. Upstream Works says the tool offers secure deployment and data control. The platform launches in Fall 2026.

Upstream Works introduces its AI Experience Platform, a new solution designed to automate customer interactions and support live agents across digital and voice channels. The company, based in Woodbridge, Ontario, announced that the platform will be available in Fall 2026, targeting organizations seeking faster resolutions, improved customer experience, and lower operational costs.

The AI Experience Platform acts as an orchestration and intelligence layer, autonomously handling customer requests end-to-end while providing real-time guidance to human agents when intervention is needed. Upstream Works highlights that the platform can be deployed in the cloud, on a virtual private cloud, or on-premise, giving organizations full control over data location and governance. This flexibility is intended to address privacy, compliance, and security requirements for enterprises managing sensitive customer information.

Key features include agentic workflow orchestration, autonomous customer resolutions, and AI-assisted support for agents. The platform leverages both Small Language Models (SLMs) tailored for customer experience and private Large Language Models (LLMs) that evolve to improve resolution quality and reduce costs. Upstream Works emphasizes that its architecture supports seamless integration with existing contact center solutions, including coexistence with CCaaS environments.

According to Jeff Palmer, Chief Revenue Officer at Upstream Works, the platform is designed to reduce repeat contacts and failure demand by resolving interactions that do not require human intervention, while equipping agents with actionable insights for more complex cases. Palmer said this approach enables organizations to manage higher contact volumes without increasing headcount.

The AI Experience Platform also includes built-in security, privacy controls, compliance monitoring, and end-to-end observability. Organizations interested in exploring autonomous customer experience solutions can request a demonstration from Upstream Works’ AI and CX experts.

Upstream Works’ announcement follows a broader industry trend toward AI-driven orchestration in customer service. For example, other companies have launched tools to streamline generative AI integration, such as a recent release that enables developers to select optimal models for media tasks-details on this can be found in a related report on advances in generative AI model orchestration.

Upstream Works has provided AI-powered omnichannel contact center solutions for over 25 years, supporting digital transformation and business growth for organizations worldwide. Its offerings are designed to help companies leverage existing systems while improving operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
