A major acquisition aims to boost Salesforce's AI capabilities. The $3.6 billion deal will bring Fin's technology into Agentforce. Integration is expected by fiscal 2027.

Salesforce is making a significant move to strengthen its AI-driven customer service offerings, announcing plans to acquire Fin for approximately $3.6 billion. The deal is designed to enhance Agentforce, Salesforce's agentic AI intelligence platform, and signals a deeper commitment to integrating advanced automation into enterprise workflows.

According to Salesforce, the agreement will see Fin's AI customer service platform become part of Agentforce, with the transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal 2027 year. The acquisition is subject to customary purchase price adjustments, and Salesforce said it aims to help companies evolve into agentic enterprises by connecting customer service with media buying capabilities.

This move follows a broader industry trend of unifying campaign processes and reducing manual work, as seen with other platforms targeting workflow efficiency. For example, AI Digital’s Elevate platform has also focused on streamlining agency operations, as discussed in this recent report on workflow solutions for independent agencies.
