Google Expands Local Services Ads With Nationwide Home Listings

Home shoppers can now view detailed property listings directly in Google Local Services Ads. The new rollout covers all 50 states and connects buyers with local agents instantly. HouseCanary powers the property data.

Google has launched a major update to its Local Services Ads, now featuring home listings across all 50 U.S. states. This expansion, developed in partnership with HouseCanary’s data platform, brings richer property details—such as pricing, images, and key features—directly into the ad experience for home buyers.

With the new format, users searching for homes can view relevant listings and immediately contact local real estate agents by calling, messaging, or booking appointments from within the ad. Google says its aim is to create a more helpful real estate journey by acting as a bridge between buyers and agents.

Existing Local Services Ads agents are automatically included in this new experience, while new agents can sign up to start receiving high-intent leads. Portal partners also have the option to enroll their agents through the LSA managed partner program. For more information, Google has published a detailed help document outlining the process.

This move follows a limited pilot and reflects Google’s ongoing efforts to enhance its real estate offerings. The integration of HouseCanary’s data is designed to surface more accurate and comprehensive property information for users. The update comes as Google continues to experiment with new features for its platforms, such as the recent Insights analytics pilot for Search Profiles, which aims to provide creators and publishers with deeper engagement data.
