App advertisers can now track cross-channel metrics in Snap Ads Manager. The update connects Snap Ads data with AppsFlyer and Adjust for clearer campaign analysis. Early users report lower costs and more app installs.

Snap has made its Unified Attribution model available to all app advertisers globally, aiming to give marketers a single view of campaign performance that combines Snap’s own metrics with data from third-party mobile measurement partners. After a limited beta in May, the rollout now lets advertisers connect Snap Ads insights with AppsFlyer and Adjust, so they can analyze real-time conversion data and adjust spending directly in Snap Ads Manager.

According to an official announcement from Snap, the global launch was completed on August 31, 2026. The feature is now open to all app advertisers using AppsFlyer or Adjust, with more mobile measurement partners (MMPs) planned for the future. Unified Attribution brings together Snapchat metrics and cross-channel performance data from MMPs in one interface, making it easier for advertisers to optimize campaigns based on real-time results and see the full impact of their efforts in Ads Manager.

During beta testing, Mohegan Sun Online Casino reported nearly 90% growth in ROAS and a significant drop in cost per install compared to previous attribution methods.

For app publishers and performance marketers, this means less time spent sorting out conflicting attribution data and more clarity on which channels actually drive installs and revenue. By pulling third-party measurement data into a single dashboard, Snap aims to be a more transparent and accountable partner for mobile-first brands looking to grow. Early adopters like Mohegan Sun Online Casino, Deblock, and Codeway have reported lower acquisition costs, better return on ad spend, wider reach, and more app installs. Muzz, for example, saw a 41% increase in installs, a 47% rise in sign-ups, a 29% drop in cost per install, and a 26% decrease in cost per sign-up during the beta, according to Marketing Dive.

Industry experts say this update addresses a long-standing issue in mobile advertising, where publishers and advertisers often use different attribution models. Bright Park, Principal PDM at AppsFlyer, said that syncing Snap’s optimization engine with advertiser measurement helps close this gap, making budget decisions and campaign strategies more consistent. Snap has also confirmed it is working to add more mobile measurement partners, with AppsFlyer and Adjust supported at launch and more to come in future updates (PPC Land).

Snap emphasizes that Unified Attribution is specifically designed for App Promotion campaigns and operates at the campaign level. The chosen attribution method is set during campaign creation and cannot be changed retroactively, ensuring consistency in measurement and reporting.

For digital publishers and app marketers, unified cross-channel metrics could change how budgets are set and campaigns are managed. As platforms compete for performance ad spend, smooth integration with trusted measurement partners is becoming standard. This shift reflects a broader trend in digital media, where data-driven reactivation and precise audience targeting are now central to growth. The Adjust Blog notes that the integration is already available to Adjust clients, and AppsFlyer-compatible integrations are being used as part of a unified optimization and measurement system.

Snap’s unified attribution rollout gives app marketers real-time insights without the hassle of fragmented reporting. By reducing data silos and aligning optimization signals, Snap is making campaign management more efficient and raising expectations for transparency in mobile advertising. For publishers and advertisers working in a crowded market, faster and clearer decision-making could lead to better results and higher returns on marketing spend.

Founded in 2011, Snap Inc. reported over 400 million daily active users in 2025 and continues to add new advertising tools for mobile-first brands. Its ongoing partnerships with leading measurement providers are part of a strategy to attract performance-focused advertisers and strengthen its role in global app marketing.
