Omnicom Media Reshapes U.S. Leadership After IPG Integration

Leadership roles shift as Omnicom Media merges talent from Interpublic. Stacy DeRiso takes a new U.S. general manager role. Susanne Grundmann and Rob DiGiovanni move into top Initiative positions.

Omnicom Media has announced a major overhaul of its U.S. management structure, combining senior leaders from both Omnicom and Interpublic following its recent acquisition. This move is set to impact agency operations, client relationships, and decision-making for publishers and marketers working with these media groups.

Stacy DeRiso, previously global brand president and U.S. CEO of Initiative at IPG Mediabrands, has been appointed as general manager-U.S. of Omnicom Media. This newly created position signals a strategic effort to blend expertise from both organizations at the highest level.

Susanne Grundmann, a long-time Omnicom executive who most recently led PHD's EMEA operations and previously served as CEO of OMD Germany, will now become global brand president of Initiative. Meanwhile, Rob DiGiovanni, formerly president-global business lead at Initiative, steps into the role of U.S. CEO of Initiative after overseeing several of the agency’s largest accounts over the past four years.

These leadership changes are designed to unify the strengths of both companies and may influence how media buyers, publishers, and content creators engage with Omnicom Media and Initiative in the U.S. market.
