Trib Total Media has signed a five-year agreement to become the Official Newspaper of the Pittsburgh Steelers. This move positions TribLIVE to further strengthen its editorial presence in sports coverage and deepen its connection with a key regional audience.
According to Trib Total Media president and CEO Jennifer Bertetto, the partnership reflects both organizations’ shared roots in Pittsburgh and their commitment to serving the community. Bertetto stated that the new role as Official Newspaper is a natural extension of TribLIVE’s ongoing efforts to deliver reliable and comprehensive Steelers coverage to fans in Western Pennsylvania and beyond.
TribLIVE’s sports journalists, columnists, and photographers will continue to provide year-round reporting on the Steelers, including breaking news, game analysis, commentary, and features on players, coaches, and fans. The agreement is designed to reinforce TribLIVE’s status as a leading source for Steelers news while supporting Trib Total Media’s broader mission of trusted local journalism and community engagement.
The partnership will also introduce new opportunities for fan interaction, such as the TRIBLIVE Terrace, a dedicated space on the stadium concourse. Steelers Senior Vice President of Business Operations Ryan Hujak said the team is enthusiastic about the collaboration, highlighting Trib Total Media’s reach as the most-read news source in Western Pennsylvania and the potential to enhance community ties and fan experiences.
Bertetto emphasized that readers can expect the same independent journalistic standards that have defined TribLIVE’s coverage, with a continued focus on keeping fans informed and connected to the team.
